GDPR and security Information – Data Hosting

Purpose
Clients of lafabops are informed of their rights and of the commitments made regarding the protection, retention, and deletion of hosted data, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR – EU 2016/679).
Hosted Data
Legal Basis for Processing :
lafabops collects the client’s name, professional email address, and phone number solely for the purpose of account management, service delivery, and billing.
This processing is based on the performance of the contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR) and is retained for the duration of the contractual relationship, plus any period required by legal or accounting obligations.

The data entrusted by the client
files, databases, backups, work environments, virtual machines) are stored and processed exclusively within the scope of the service defined in the contract.
Recipients
Hosted data is not transmitted to any third party, except where required by law or to authorized subcontractors strictly necessary for service delivery (e.g. infrastructure providers). No data is sold or used for commercial purposes unrelated to the service.
International Data Transfers
All hosted data is stored and processed exclusively within the European Union. No data is transferred outside the EU/EEA.
Client Rights
In accordance with the GDPR, the client has the following rights:
Access: to obtain confirmation and a copy of the hosted data.
Rectification: to request the correction of data.
Erasure: to request the permanent deletion of data.
Portability: to receive the data in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format.
Information: to be notified in the event of a security incident affecting their data.
Objection: to object to the processing of your data on legitimate grounds.Restriction: to request the restriction of processing under certain conditions.Complaint: to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority (in France, the CNIL – www.cnil.fr) if you believe your rights are not being respected.

End of Hosting and Data Retention
Upon termination of the hosting contract:
Data is retained by default for 180 days from the contract end date.
During this period, the client may request:
The complete return of their data in a standard format
Or its early and irreversible deletion
After 180 days, all data and associated backups are automatically and permanently deleted in a secure manner.
Proof of Deletion
At the client’s request, lafabops issues a secure deletion certificate, accompanied by technical logs confirming the erasure of data from:
Hosted virtual machines (KVM)
Storage and backup spaces
Data Processing Agreement
For clients processing personal data on our infrastructure, a Data Processing Agreement (DPA) in accordance with Article 28 GDPR is available upon request.
